Refund Policy
Our approach
In Your Dreams offers digital content — personalised dream interpretations — that are generated and delivered instantly when you pay. We've written this policy to be clear and fair about when refunds apply.
We'll always act reasonably if something has genuinely gone wrong on our side.
1. Single readings ($2.49 USD)
Non-refundable once delivered.
Because each reading is a personalised digital product generated at the moment of payment, single readings cannot be refunded once the reading has been created and shown to you.
2. Monthly and annual subscriptions
- Current billing period: Non-refundable. Once your subscription is active for a month or year, that period's payment is not refundable.
- Cancel anytime: You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by emailing us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid period. You retain full access until then.
- No auto-charge after cancellation: Once cancelled, your subscription will not automatically renew. You will not be charged again.
- Daily reading limit: Subscriptions include up to 2 dream readings per day. The limit resets at midnight UTC. If you reach the limit, you can submit further dreams the following day.
- Safety system block: If a dream submission is flagged by our safety system, you'll receive a wellbeing message instead of a reading. As subscriptions are not charged per reading, no refund applies in this case. The blocked submission does not count toward your daily reading limit.
3. Gift readings
- Before redemption: If a gift recipient hasn't redeemed the gift code within 90 days of purchase, the gift giver may request a full refund by contacting us.
- After redemption: Non-refundable once the recipient has redeemed the code and received their reading.
4. When we will issue a refund
We will issue a refund — or a free replacement reading at your choice — if:
- You were charged but no reading was generated due to a technical fault on our side
- You were charged incorrectly (for example, duplicate billing)
- Your subscription was not properly cancelled after you requested cancellation and you were charged again as a result
- A gift reading could not be redeemed due to a technical issue on our side
Automatic refunds for safety-flagged single readings: If you purchased a single reading and your dream submission was flagged by our safety system, you will receive a wellbeing message instead of a reading and your payment will be refunded automatically. You do not need to contact us — the refund is processed at the moment your submission is flagged and should appear on your card or payment method within 5-10 business days, depending on your bank.
5. How to request a refund

- The email address associated with your account
- The approximate date of the charge
- A brief explanation of what happened
We aim to review and respond within 5 business days.
6. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this policy limits or replaces your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
Under the ACL, you are entitled to a refund or replacement where a service:
- Is not delivered as described
- Has a major fault that cannot reasonably be resolved
- Does not meet consumer guarantees

7. Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback with your bank or card issuer without contacting us first, we may:
- Suspend your account pending investigation
- Decline to provide further service
