Wig
A wig — false hair worn to disguise — often touches an unpropitious change, with derision from enemies if you lose it and treachery if others wear them. The dream may ask where an artificial covering stands in for the real thing, and whether the disguise you've donned, or seen on others, masks a change or a deceit worth seeing through.
