Wet Nurse
A wet nurse — who sustains another's child — often touches widowhood or the care of the aged and little children, with dependence on your own labours for a woman. The dream may ask where you're being called to nourish those who can't provide for themselves, and whether you can shoulder the demanding role of caring for the dependent.

These are the entries the historical dream-books record for wet nurse, in their own words. They are period voices, not predictions, and they do not always agree with one another.
Gustavus Hindman Miller, 1901
To dream that you are a wet nurse, denotes that you will be widowed or have the care of the aged, or little children.
For a woman to dream that she is a wet nurse, signifies that she will depend on her own labors for sustenance.
Fontaine, 1862
To dream of seeing a wet-nurse suckling a child, is a sign of venery: to a married man it foretells that he will break his marriage vows; and to unmarried girls it denotes shame.
