Scratch
Scratching — clawing at others, or being clawed — often touches ill-tempered fault-finding in your dealings, or injury from a deceitful person's enmity. The dream may ask where irritation is making you sharp and carping with people, and whether a small, spiteful wounding, given or received, is the surface mark of a deeper hostility.

These are the entries the historical dream-books record for scratch, in their own words. They are period voices, not predictions, and they do not always agree with one another.
Gustavus Hindman Miller, 1901
To scratch others in your dream, denotes that you will be ill-tempered and fault-finding in your dealings with others.
If you are scratched, you will be injured by the enmity of some deceitful person.
Fontaine, 1862
To dream of having your face scratched, is a sign that somebody has been disparaging your good looks: if a girl imagines in her dream that she has scratched herself with a pin, it foretells that scandal is afloat relative to her conduct with her lover, or some other gentleman.
