A reprieve — a stay from sentence — often touches overcoming a difficulty that's causing you anxiety, with good luck befalling a lover. The dream may ask where you're dreading a hard reckoning, and whether a sudden reprieve from the thing you feared most might be arriving to lift a weight you'd braced yourself to carry.
