Parting
Parting — taking leave of others — often touches little daily vexations if you part from friends, but success in love and business if you part from enemies. The dream may ask what or whom you're separating from, and whether the leave-taking underway is a small grief loosening on you or a welcome release clearing the way for good fortune.
A live archive of what the world is dreaming tonight: which symbols are rising, the collective mood, and where the dreams are coming from. Free, always.

These are the entries the historical dream-books record for parting, in their own words. They are period voices, not predictions, and they do not always agree with one another.
Gustavus Hindman Miller, 1901
To dream of parting with friends and companions, denotes that many little vexations will come into your daily life.
If you part with enemies, it is a sign of success in love and business.
Fontaine, 1862
To dream of parting from friends with regret, is a sign of disappointment: if a girl dreams that her lover is going away anywhere, and she feels bad when he takes his leave, it predicts that he will not go raving distracted with delight the next time he comes to see her, and she will consequently be disappointed at his supposed coolness; but all this may not amount to anything more than to make her feel bad for the time being.
