Meshes
Meshes — the tangling threads of a net — often touch enemies who oppress you in the midst of apparent prosperity, and the struggle to break free. The dream may ask where you feel caught in a fine, snaring web, and whether you can disentangle yourself before slander or ruin closes around you.

These are the entries the historical dream-books record for meshes, in their own words. They are period voices, not predictions, and they do not always agree with one another.
Gustavus Hindman Miller, 1901
To dream of being entangled in the meshes of a net, or other like constructions, denotes that enemies will oppress you in time of seeming prosperity. To a young woman, this dream foretells that her environments will bring her into evil and consequent abandonment. If she succeeds in disengaging herself from the meshes, she will narrowly escape slander.
